Our Vision

Hello There
 

Hi, I'm Erica owner and senior event planner of K&L Events. I founded K&L Events in 2018 with the intent to be a full time planner, successful business entrepreneur, and a continuously grow a successful buisness helping others. I am a mother of 2 amazing boys Kaiden and Levi and they are my world. I am also currently engaged to the love of my life and excited to take on the role of a wife. 

 I have fallen head over heels in LOVE with weddings. After planning many “parties”, I knew this was the career path for me, this was my passion and true calling. After accepting an Internship at The Monte Cristo Ballroom back in 2012 it was then I knew that I wanted to become a wedding planner full time and that I had found my dream job.  Over the years I have moved around the event industry to develop the skills I needed in order to create the most successful weddings and events possible for my clients.   I pride myself on my customized and unique events. I’m here to make sure that each and every event I’m involved with is inspiring, extraordinary, and unforgettable. With years of experience in the wedding profession, and many successful weddings and events behind me I am confident I will succeed in making your event everything you imagined and more.  

I often get asked what's my favorite part about my job? To me, it’s the end of the day. When your client comes up to you and tells you the day was a dream come true, it’s the best feeling in the world!!!

K&L    Events Team 

I am honored to be part of the K&L tribe of creatives who guide their clients through one of the most joyous chapters of their lives. Raised in the Bellevue area, I began working fine dining events during my summers from college. Now, over 23 years later I have continue my journey by assisting couples plan their dream wedding day.  I am truly unique with my corporate Director of Events experience, fine dining training, hospitality knowledge, and being an artist at heart. With weddings, I have found a path that utilizes my creative and artistic approach, all while allowing me to be extremely detail oriented. My passion begins with the concept creation, and easily flows into anticipating my clients every need.  I understand all aspects of the planning process, creating my clients vision, prioritizing communication, all while having a stellar design-eye.

 

Married for over 16 years, I live in the Bothell area with my Husband and two teenage children. They are truly my strength and stability, and make my passion possible. When I'm not planning weddings, I can usually be found on the sidelines of a basketball court or soccer pitch cheering for my kids. 

 

My favorite part of wedding planning is making my clients dream a reality.  I love my job as a wedding planner , and each wedding is truly unique. There is no better feeling than producing a couples wedding vision, on a day that will be cherished forever.

Hello, I'm Alyssa! I am originally from Indiana but my husband and I have been living in Seattle for the last 5 years. I love the nature of the PNW and try to spend as much time outside as I can! We keep our summers busy by camping, hiking and exploring all the amazing parks in the area. When Seattle weather isn't cooperating, I love to cozy up inside and read, bake and binge watch Netflix. I grew up playing basketball and still try to get on the court from time to time. I am a huge college basketball fan and take March Madness probably too seriously! Any type of coffee is my drink of choice and my friends say I make the best espresso martinis! 

 

My whole life I have enjoyed hosting and planning events. My schooling ended with me pursuing a career in healthcare, however, I always had one foot in the event planning space. My experience has been mostly in planning and leading black tie galas and fundraising events for various nonprofits. After planning two of my own weddings (thanks COVID19) and working with my amazing wedding coordinator, I found a passion for the wedding industry and helping couples on their most important day! Erica was kind enough to add me to her team and I am so excited to be working with a group that cares deeply about its couples and their wedding visions. My favorite part of wedding planning is that I get to see so many weddings that are unique to the love story of the couple. I am excited to support, cheer on and allow every couple to experience a day full of joy and celebration with their favorite people!

Hi there, I’m Lindsay! I’m the mom of two wonderful kiddos, Caden and Alexis. I spend my free time cheering on my college cheerleader and running my son to his fun extracurriculars. We love to go on
adventures, whether it’s a day hike, trip to the beach, Disneyland or local parks to get fresh air! I began wedding planning/coordinating at a young age. I started out as a florist at a local flower shop designing everything from weddings, proms, Valentine’s Day and everything in between. Over the last 20+ years, I have helped many friends and family members plan their always and forever. I’ve continued to design flowers for couples, bartended weddings/events and most recently spent several years at a venue in the Snohomish Valley as a planner/coordinator. Instead of helping with different pieces of the planning process, I decided to take a leap of faith and do just what I’m passionate about most.

 

You could say I love, LOVE, taking the time to get to know the couples I’m working with, what their interests are and tying all that into the choices wrapped around their unique day. From start to finish, having that initial consultation, all the way to the “I Do’s” and beyond, I am passionate about utilizing my creativity, knowledge, and perfectionism to help create each intricate detail that you’ve been dreaming of. Whether you’re a traditionalist or like to get creative and explore new ideas, I’m with you every step of the way to bounce ideas off, answer any questions, take care of the details big & small and relieve as much stress as I can.
I love celebrating people and watching them glow in their happiness!

Jillian Mgbee

Hi there, my name is Jillian and I can’t wait to meet you and make your dream day a reality!  I love working in event planning as it allows me to combine my creativity along with my hyper-organization skills.  I love exploring the PNW, baking, and snuggling with my French Bulldog, Jeffery.

 

Over the years, I’ve organized a variety of events including weddings, showers, philanthropies, fashion shows, and birthdays!  I love leading the ‘team’ of vendors to a successful outcome - making you happy!  Your wedding day is so special, and I’m honored to be a part of it.

Hello, I'm Ann! I was born and graduated in Hawaii. During my senior year, I started working at Creations in Catering- Hawaii's premiere full service catering and event production company as an event planner intern and was assisting in some weddings which I fall in LOVE with.

 

In 2012, I have decided to move to Beijing for more opportunities. I joined ApaxGroup, one of the leading event and marketing company in Asia-Pacific. As part of the Project management team, we created the next wave and bringing client's vision to life. I definitely gained a lot of experiences in planning and executing small to large scale events (fashion shows, galas and exhibitions) in those years. In 2017, I planned my own wedding in Hongkong and moved to Seattle. I  started as a wedding coordinator at Nordstrom, but is more about selling gowns than planning a wedding. So later I came across K&L Events and am honored to be a part of the team and continue my childhood dream job. After all these years, I found myself even more passionate and enjoyable working in the wedding/event industry.
